Moscow Arts Department: Third Street Gallery

For those interested in art, Moscow, Idaho is a hotbed of artistic activity on the Palouse. Located in the heart of Moscow's city center, and less than a 15 minute drive from Pullman, the gallery is a quick and accessible diversion from more mundane fall activities.

Where will I see at the gallery?
The current exhibit, which runs through November, 25, is a collection of paintings from the City of Moscow's Palouse Plein Air competition.

What is Plein Air?
French for "in the open air," used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Plein Air competitions are all about painting outdoors in a specific area or region and then having those paintings exhibited in an art gallery.

What should I bring?
Bring a friend or two and an open mind, this art is accessible and fun.

How much are tickets?
Free!

What are the hours of operations?
The Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow's City hall at 206 East Third Street. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
