Missed the second installment of Harry Potter this summer? Well thankfully the Student Entertainment Board at WSU is bringing you an exclusive movie premier this coming weekend, November 4-6th.

What time is the movie?
Harry Potter 7 Part 2 will be Friday and Saturdays playing both at 6PM and 9PM and Sunday 4PM and 7PM.

How much is the movie premier?
The movie is FREE for students and only $2.00 for the general public, which includes the free movie AND free popcorn!

What should I bring to the screening?
Since the SEB provides free popcorn, I suggest bringing your own drink (NONALCOHOLIC) and some food you can purchase from the CUB including, Panda Express, Carlitas, Subway, etc;All of which have meal options for $5.00-$10.00.

What is the schedule of movies?
For the rest of the semester

Monday Night is the NEW Date Night

Dating on a college budget can be tricky. When planning date nights with the usual dinner and a movie you are looking at spending up to $75+ on two nice entrees, appetizers, drinks, two movie tickets, and then the $15 your spending on satisfying your popcorn and candy fix. Luckily for you, Fireside Grille in Pullman has created a deal to help college students on a budget.

What is this money saving deal?
At Fireside Grille, you will receive a $4.00 movie ticket when you purchase an entree of $10+! This will be saving you about $6.00 on a movie ticket which is about $12.00 on a date night, while still making you look thoughtful and sweet to splurge on dinner and a movie with your date!

What type of food can fit into my budget?
I would recommend...
  •  Bruschetta for $6.00
  • Fish and Chips for the entree- $10.50
                  OR
  • Any of their personal size rustic pizza for $11.50 (California Club, BBQ Chicken, Hawaiian, and The Works) all of which are AMAZING
  • Skip dessert and soda for the movie concession stand
DINNER TOTAL:  $28.00 for two amazing meals
MOVIE TOTAL: $8.00 for two movie tickets

What to do at the movie theater for snacks and drinks?
I personally recommend
  • Go to the dollar store and each pick out your favorite candy, it comes in KING SIZE and is only $1.00 each
  • I also would recommend each getting a soda as well for an addition $2.00
  • At the movie theater the concessions are decently priced in Pullman with the most expensive jumbo popcorn at only $5.00, I recommend the medium for only $3.50
SNACK TOTAL: $10.00

Grand Total for a Date Night Out for TWO:
$46.00 saving you about $30-40 on a night out

Remember to skip where you can and allow your date to have a great time while saving your wallet and bank account from taking a hit.

**Remember ladies it is not always the guys job to pay, if he buys dinner and the tickets offer to buy the snacks it will take him off guard and score you some nice brownie points! HOWEVER if he refuses twice DO NOT PUSH THIS! Acknowledge his kindness and tease it is your treat next time :)
