What is Jamms Frozen Yogurt?
Jamms moto is "Where you rule!" The whole idea of Jamms is you are in control of how much frozen yogurt, what flavor you choose (there are 10!), and you choose how much and what types of toppings you want (there are over 55!) There is enough to make hundreds of possibilities allowing you to switch up your flavor everyday!

What type of yogurt does Jamms provide?
The yogurt that is used for Jamms it is nonfat and low calories for everyone to enjoy on a diet or not!

What flavor of yogurts are there to choose from?
Red Velvet Cake, Vanilla, Chocolate, Orange, New York Cheesecake, Tango, Dulce de Leche, Cookie'n'Cream, Wild Berry Tart, Cake Batter and Reeses Peanut Butter Cup.

What type of topping are there to put on my fro-yo?
With over 55+ toppings it is hard to name them all, so to name a few: fruit, ranging from strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, etc; to candy toppings of, oreo cookie pieces, cookie dough, sprinkles to brownie pieces. Sauces then include chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, marshmallow sauce and more!

How much does it cost?
The cost is based on the weight of your creation, so basically your looking at paying anywhere from $3.00-$15.00 if your going HUGE! However, on the plus side if you bring in your student idea you receive a student discount of 10% off!

The Black Cypress Restaurant in Pullman

For those of you WSU students with a more sophisticated taste for good food and fine wine, Black Cypress located on Main Street in downtown Pullman is definitely your scene. Their small, yet exquisite menu offers food items unlike anywhere else in Pullman.

What is Their Menu Like?

Their menu is full of mainly Greek-style food, and the owner even cooked in Greece! Appetizers range from $4 - $11, not bad at all, especially for the quality. Some items on their appetizer list are Souvlakia (pork skewers) (7), clams (11) and the good ol' (but much better) Caesar salad (5/8). Entrees start off at a measly $11 for the pomodora (a better version of spaghetti) or with meatballs for $14. The last time I visited, I ordered the myzithra and mushrooms, which was a pasta with brown butter, myzithra cheese and mushrooms (13). It was to die for. But if you're not much of a pasta person there are also a variety of meat as well. Lamb chops (21) or pork chops (19), New York or rib eye steak (24), roasted chicken (19) or grilled tofu (14). Needless to say, there are many items to choose from!

Bring on the Drinks!

The Black Cypress offers some of the most original and mouth-watering cocktails I've seen on the Palouse. They definitely have a little something for everyone; and the great part is, each one is between $7 - $8, what a steal! My personal favorites are the arlo and mojito, and you can check out the whole cocktail list on their website at www.theblackcypress.com to see what's in every magical cocktail. There are even great whiskey, gin, rum and Bourbon cocktails on the list: I know where I'm taking my dad for dad's weekend! For those of you wine connoisseurs out there, Black Cypress is a great place to go for fabulous wine. They offer great local wines from Washington, Oregon and California, and also wine from all over the world. They even have my favorite wine, Maryhill Pinot Gris from the Columbia valley!

So if you're looking for a little different atmosphere from the usual Pullman restaurants and bars, look no further. The Black Cypress Bar and Kitchen offers one of Pullman's most unique ambiances and experience you could ever imagine.

Girls' (and guys') day out at Identity Day Spa!

A lot of people feel there aren't a variety of different kinds of activities available in, or close to Pullman. However, a Identity Salon and Day Spa proves them wrong! Although Identity is one of the only spas in Pullman and the immediate surrounding areas, they still have reasonable prices for nearly every college student's budget.

What Kind of Services Do They Offer?
Identity offers an array of services (that even your man can enjoy). Starting with hair, Identity has an experienced group of stylists who are happy to color, cut, deep condition, put in or remove extensions, and many other specialized treatments. Identity also offers body waxing (for every body part), and indoor tanning as well. They have full body, aroma therapy, maternity, hot stone, facials, Swedish, and many other specified massages which I have been lucky enough to receive! Everyone deserves a massage once in a while. Last but not least, they offer manicures and pedicures that are phenomenal! Full leg and arm massage with every mani/pedi! Prices at Identity range from $25 - $140, so yes, their services do add up fast!




What is the Ambiance Like in the Spa?
Instantly, when you step into Identity, you feel calm and peaceful. Their entire facility is small and quaint, yet very modern and chic. It is extremely clean with calming colors and fun staff.

Identity is right in the heart of downtown Pullman on Main Street right next to Taco Del Mar, so it is super easy to find, and only 3/4 of a mile from campus. They are open Tuesdays through Fridays 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. While appointments are recommended, walk-ins are always welcome. Bojack's Broiler Pit in Lewiston

Come and dine at the iconic Bojack's Broiler Pit in Lewiston Idaho. A short drive away you will be eating dinner in a highly raved about restaurant.

What type of food does Bojacks serve?
From stuffed mushrooms, seafood, steak and pasta, Bojacks serves in BIG portions and very reasonable price ranges.


What would I recommend?
For starters I am a huge mushroom fan so I recommend the Stuffed Mushroom Caps with shrimp, cheese and spices in a mushroom cap. I also love Bojack's Broiler Pit for their amazing steaks so I just love Bojacks Top Sirloin and Broiled Shrimp!

What else does Bojack's Broiler Pit have to offer?
A part from the amazing food, Bojacks has a full bar above its restaurant! You are able to have a nice romantic meal with family, friends or loved one and then you are able to cut loose upstairs.

Monday Night is the NEW Date Night

What to do at the movie theater for snacks and drinks?
I personally recommend

• Go to the dollar store and each pick out your favorite candy, it comes in KING SIZE and is only $1.00 each
• I also would recommend each getting a soda as well for an addition $2.00
• At the movie theater the concessions are decently priced in Pullman with the most expensive jumbo popcorn at only $5.00, I recommend the medium for only $3.50

$46.00 saving you about $30-40 on a night out

Remember to skip where you can and allow your date to have a great time while saving your wallet and bank account from taking a hit.
